Sewa TT at NGO Day 2025

On Wednesday 19th March 2025, Sewa TT proudly participated in the Ministry of Social Development and Family Services’ inaugural World NGO Day celebration at NAPA. The event brought together numerous NGOs, civil society organizations (CSOs), and state actors for a day of networking, resource-sharing, and collaboration towards impactful social development.

Sewa TT’s booth was a hub of engagement, where our dedicated volunteers connected with fellow NGOs, government officials, and community leaders. Discussions centered on shared goals, innovative solutions, and strategies for stronger collaboration to uplift communities and protect the environment.

We were honored by a visit from Senator the Honourable Donna Cox, Minister of Social Development and Family Services, who expressed gratitude for Sewa TT’s ongoing service and commitment to humanitarian and environmental causes. Her encouragement reaffirmed the importance of collective action in driving positive change.

Reflecting on the event, Sewa TT volunteer Darcel Subran shared:
“The day went really well. It was a pioneering event that really helped identify our combined opportunities to be each other’s allies in our united vision to improve the state of our humanity and environment.”

World NGO Day 2025 served as a powerful reminder of the strength in unity—where NGOs, government, and communities can work hand-in-hand for a brighter future. Sewa TT remains committed to service, partnership, and sustainable impact, and we look forward to more collaborative opportunities ahead.
